How long is the flight?
Hollywood & Downtown scenic flights are typically about 45 minutes of flight time. Grand LA, Landmarks and Coastline flights are typically about 60 minutes. Discovery Flights are about 45 minutes. Actual flight time may vary based on weather, ATC, routing, airspace, and safety conditions.
Where do flights depart from?
SkyView Tours flights depart from Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles.
Are exact routes guaranteed?
No. Exact routing, altitude, and visibility depend on weather, ATC, airspace, and safety considerations.
Can we take photos and videos?
Yes. Guests may take photos and videos as long as devices are handled safely.
How many passengers can fly?
Most scenic flights are offered for 2 or 3 passengers, subject to weight and balance.
What if weather is not good?
If weather, wind, visibility, or safety conditions are not suitable, the flight may be rescheduled.
Is a waiver required?
Yes. All guests must complete the required waiver before flight.
What aircraft is used?
SkyView Tours operates scenic flights in a Cirrus SR20.
Can narration be provided in Hindi or Punjabi?
Yes. Flight narration may be available in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

The Grand LA, Landmarks and Coastline Scenic Flight includes Santa Monica Pier and the coastline, subject to conditions.

Is this a lesson or sightseeing tour?
A Discovery Flight is an introductory flying experience with a CFI-style instructional focus, not just sightseeing.
Who can sit in the aircraft?
The $299 Discovery Flight includes the potential pilot and one passenger. The $399 option includes the potential pilot and two passengers, subject to weight and balance.
Will the participant touch the controls?
When safe and appropriate, the participant may experience basic aircraft control under supervision.
